Since we’ve moved to Colorado, we have been joining Uncle Mark, Aunt Sara and friends to chop down our Christmas Tree. We start out at Mark and Sara’s house and they always bless everyone with a yummy breakfast. Then we drive to a beautiful forested area that is owned by Mark’s work and we all scatter to look for a tree. Chainsaws, axes, and other tools are present and always make an impression on Asher. This year Asher brought his own “chainsaw” to join in on the action. Tree Day did have a twist this year. Our friend Adam cut his foot with an axe while chopping his tree. Poor Adam! Asher did see the wounded foot and ever since he has continuously acted out the injury, said prayers for Adam’s foot, and told numerous amount of people what happened. Thankfully, Adam’s foot has healed. Tree Day, always a memorable time.
